DuPont Launched its Dairy Starter Culture Line

DuPont introduced its new range of culture line, Howaru Dophilus AG in May 2019. Howaru Dophilus AG provides benefits towards the digestive system and well-being. It is non-animal, non-allergen, non-dairy and perfect for vegan diets. It is specially used for plant based products.

DuPont develops the dairy culture series under the Danisco brand. Danisco’s range of diary culture includes Choozit cheese cultures, kefir-d cultures, Holdbac protective cultures, Probat mesophilic cultures, and yogurt cultures. The Choozit cheese cultures are used to control acidification and emphasizing and differentiating profiles of flavor. It provides flavor and texture development, aids in color and appearance of blue cheese, soft cheese, white cheese and others. Holdbac protective cultures prevents spoilage by pathogens in meat and fermented milk products. Kefir-d cultures consist of pure kefir grains which provides fizzy mouth feel, fresh flavor and probiotic benefits. Probat mesophilic cultures offers early flavor development and maintains required flavor, and functionality of dairy products.
