Qualcomm Introduced Two New Wi-Fi Chipsets

Qualcomm Inc. with its strong research and development competencies focuses on adopting emerging technology and thereby developing new and innovative products and services for its customers. Qualcomm has launched several products in the recent year. Recently, Qualcomm Inc. announced new chip for cloud data center servers. This new chip in data center is expected to help accelerate AI processing, thus, providing the fundamental building blocks of new forms of computing. In January 2019, the company launched 3rd Generation Qualcomm Snapdragon Automotive Cockpit Platforms. The new platform consists of a new tiering system enabling automakers offer different customizable options for its end users. In the same month, Qualcomm showcased Snapdragon 855 at Hawaii in the Snapdragon Tech Summit. The Snapdragon 855 is 5G supported, and built-in artificial intelligence which improve the performance, is expected to power Android smartphones.

Qualcomm introduced two new Wi-Fi chipsets which improve the wireless experience for 5G mobile connectivity. The company rolled out QCA64x1 and QCA64x8 in its 60GHz WiFi chipset family. The WiFi chipsets deliver 10+ Gbps per second of network speed. IN Feb 2019, Qualcomm stated about the first mobile platform with Integrated 5G. In this, the 5G connection is integrated into a SoC. The Company has built on its 5G with a Snapdragon X55 and X50 5G modems and RFFE solutions. Qualcomm also revealed Snapdragon 855 at the Snapdragon Tech Summit in Hawaii. The Snapdragon 855 is 5G supported, has built-in artificial intelligence technology and improving performance. The product is projected to be a processor powering common Android smartphones.
