The comprehensive test demonstrates the engineering, functionality and performance of the process system for Calcasieu Pass just seven months after the project's final investment decision - an important and revolutionary achievement for the industry.

As part of the ongoing project execution, the comprehensive test was carried out with the first complete set of equipment, to test that all system components work together under normal operating conditions. The comprehensive test replicates and simulates site conditions, and each component to be shipped to and operated from the site is fine-tuned and validated to verify the functionality and performance of the entire system. The test performs an evaluation of mechanical performance and measures equipment vibration and bearing temperatures, at full speed and at full load. In a demonstration of innovation and commitment to maintaining the project schedule, Baker Hughes and Venture Global used state-of-the-art virtual technology to conduct the test against the limiting conditions imposed by COVID-19. Globally, the test involved 21 people in five cities around the world monitoring the test using advanced digital and video remote access, as well as local on-site technicians, from both Baker Hughes and Venture Global, who were doing direct observation in Massa .
